Candidate Registry

Vote1

The Town of Beaumont is required to maintain a registry of “intended candidates”.  The registry is in the form of posting the names on the Election webpage of those who have registered.  The purpose of the registry is to provide transparency and a way for the public to check the validity of anyone asking for funds or donations to support their campaign.

Note:  On Nomination Day (September 18th), an individual is required to file their completed nomination form between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon in Council Chambers at the Town Administration Office.  Upon acceptance of the form, the individual becomes an official candidate and their name will appear on the ballot.  The names of official candidates for the office of Mayor and Councillor will be posted on September 19th.
