Why can’t the plow lift the blade at my driveway? I just cleared it of snow and now the plow has blocked my driveway with snow again.
The snow plows only sand and chip in residential areas, they do not blade. The graders that blade in residential areas have snow gates that go down across driveways to avoid windrows. However, there are occasions when there is a large amount of snow, that there is spillage over the snow gate. The operators endeavor to avoid these situations, but cannot guarantee that this will not occur.
