Communications
The Communications department oversees any and all communication and media relations for the City of Beaumont. The goal is to inform the community and keep residents up-to-date on all events, initiatives, public engagements and much more.
Community & Social Development (CSD)
CSD strengthens the quality of life in our community. Social initiatives are locally-driven and preventative to support the well-being of individuals, seniors, families, youth and the community.
CSD includes Family and Community Support Services (FCSS), the Chantal Bérubé Youth Centre, child care services and the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Framework.
Corporate Analytics and Technology (CAT)
The Corporate Analytics & Technology department is responsible for the City's information technology (IT) and Geometric Information Systems (GIS), business improvements (through technology and digital solutions), data management and corporate analytics, as well as effective asset management.
GIS-based solutions use location-based data to improve efficiencies to business workflows.
Economic Development
The Economic Development department manages all things business and local economy in Beaumont. Economic development in Beaumont means a community-centered process blending social and economic development to improve and support the well-being of the community.
The Economic Development department works with local businesses, developers, and regional partners to grow Beaumont and the services available to its citizens.

People Services
Human Resources (through job recruitment) makes up most of the People Services department, and is the face of this department when interacting with residents. People Services also includes a Health & Safety team.
Legal and Legislative Services (LLS)
LLS guides the legislated municipal requirements, supports Mayor and Council and the various boards and committees associated with the City. Bylaws and policies, elections, requests from the public (like FOIP) and the census are all part of how LLS contributes to Beaumont.

Planning and Development
The Planning and Development department is responsible for the orderly and sustainable growth of the City. Development is a community-centered process to foster economic, social, ecological and cultural well-being. Planning develops and implements plans, policies and bylaws to reflect the vision of the City and the values of community. The department offers the following programs:

- Development permitting
- City-wide policy planning
- Growth planning
- Regional planning
- Safety codes services (building permits and inspections)

Infrastructure
The Infrastructure department maintains and operates the City's assets including:
- Bridges
- Buildings
- Fleet and equipment
- Parks and trails
- Roads and sidewalks
- Water, wastewater and drainage network
Protective Services
The Protective Services department keeps your family safe. There are 3 branches to protect, enforce and serve in emergency situations.
Recreation
The Recreation department plans and delivers all the "things to do" in Beaumont: programs and services for sports, recreation, arts and events plus ways to safely use our parks for health and enjoyment. The Rec department operates three facilities: Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre (BSRC), Ken Nichol Regional Recreation Centre (KNRRC) and the Beaumont Community Centre (CCBCC), where the maintenance of parks and facilities generally falls to the Infrastructure department.

Finance
The Finance division, through the Accounting department, processes tax notices and utility payments, pays supplier invoices and does payroll for the City. The Financial Services department prepares annual budgets and financial statements, as well as sets the annual rates for property taxes and utilities (water, sewer and garbage collection).
