Boards & Committees
The boards and committees established by Beaumont City Council serve a range of functions that strengthen the community. With membership appointed from the public by Council, the boards and committees:
- provide advice to Council
- make recommendations to Council, or
- hear and decide appeals related to development.

Serve it up! Help shape Beaumont
Board members are appointed by Council from an annual call for volunteers or as vacancies arise. The 2023 board member recruitment closed on December 10.

Whether it’s advising City Council on needs for recreation, culture, the arts, or issues affecting youth, or you want a hand in setting the direction for the Beaumont library, hearing subdivision and development appeals, or evaluating funding requests for community groups, there are many ways for you to serve it up!

Grant Tolley has a long history of service to Beaumont. He cites the feeling from seeing a project he had a hand in, along with 17 other special reasons.
