Call for Resident Input
Each year, the budget process begins with a call to residents to provide project or service ideas that they would like to be considered in coming years. The submissions are prioritized based on the six key focus areas identified in Beaumont's Strategic Plan:
Fiscal and Asset Management
Here's how it works:
Residents are asked to submit budget ideas by email or using the online survey - June
Staff compile information for consideration in the next Strategic Plan - May to July
The Committee of the Whole reviews the submissions - July
The information is integrated into the budget process - August to December.
