Information about the various enforcement agencies and departments that serve and protect Beaumont.
A 24-hour dedicated dispatch service provides residents with the opportunity to speak with a professional dispatcher that is trained in obtaining all necessary information, determining whether or not the call should be routed to the RCMP, and assigning the file to the next available officer.

An Alberta Health Services EMS ambulance is stationed in Beaumont at the Beaumont Fire Hall, providing emergency ground ambulance services to Beaumont and surrounding communities.
Beaumont Fire Services operates a fire hall, training facility and operates with a combination of full-time staff and volunteer members. Find emergency planning information in this section.
Municipal Enforcement has Community Peace Officers to enforce municipal bylaws and certain provincial statues that include things like traffic enforcement and animal control.
The RCMP has a detachment to provide law enforcement services in Beaumont.
The City of Beaumont’s Automated Traffic Enforcement (ATE) program is focused on monitoring and enforcing traffic in zones that have the potential of the highest risk to residents. Speeding vehicles can be found in any area of the community, and at any time of the day. The City’s ATE program places the highest priority in those areas that are at the highest risk for personal injuries, such as schools and playgrounds.
Beaumont currently has one School Resource Officer focused on assisting school administration in ensuring safe school environments, successful students and productive citizens.
The City of Beaumont is modernizing and streamlining our Community Standards Bylaw so that residents can continue to enjoy a high quality of life in Beaumont. This bylaw provides clear and transparent rules for residents and businesses and will make enforcement more effective and efficient.

Alberta Health Services assumed responsibility for emergency ground ambulance services in Alberta, in the spring of 2009.
Alberta Health Services EMS ambulance stationed in Beaumont. While the ambulance is stationed in the Beaumont Fire Hall, it will also provide coverage to surrounding communities.
In the event of emergency, call 9-1-1
Community Peace Officers are appointed by Beaumont City Council to enforce municipal bylaws; and by the Alberta Solicitor General to enforce provincial statues (Animal Protection Act, Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act, Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act, Traffic Safety Act and Regulations).
In addition to regular duties, Community Peace Officers conduct routine proactive patrols throughout the community by vehicle, bike and foot patrol.
