Le Reve

Invistec Consulting Ltd., has submitted an Area Structure Plan application to the City of Beaumont, called the Le Rêve Area Structure Plan. The Le Rêve Area Structure Plan is located in northeast Beaumont and is comprised of approximately 260 hectares (four quarter sections). The plan area is bounded by Township Road 510 and Coloniale Estates to the south, 50 Street to the west, the City of Edmonton to the north, and Range Road 240 to the east.

Invistec Consulting Ltd., has submitted a Neighbourhood Structure Plan application to the City of Beaumont, called the Le Rêve Southwest Neighbourhood Structure Plan. The Neighbourhood Structure Plan is located in northeast Beaumont within the Le Rêve Area Structure Plan plan area, and is comprised of approximately 70ha (174 acres) of land.

An Area Structure Plan is a statutory plan that provides the planning, transportation and servicing framework for a specified area, and must be consistent with all higher level plans, including Provincial Legislation and Regulations, higher order municipal statutory plans, and intermunicipal agreements. The City of Beaumont referred the Le Rêve Area Structure Plan application to plan area landowners, adjacent landowners and external agencies, including school boards, Leduc County, City of Edmonton, and provincial agencies  from September 9 to October 5, 2020. The City is evaluating the feedback received, in light of regional and municipal plans and policies, and is working with the applicant to address comments that were raised during the referral period. The applicant has completed an engagement process over September and October to collect feedback from the general public and from landowners. The applicant has created a summary of the process within a “What We Heard Report.” The City of Beaumont is posting this report online on behalf of the applicant.

 Information on next steps will be provided on the City of Beaumont website and advertised in accordance with the Municipal Government Act
