The City of Beaumont is reviewing and updating the 2014 Environmental Master Plan to ensure it meets the City’s environmental goals and to address environmental impacts, issues, and services in Beaumont. The Municipal Development Plan is a statutory plan that establishes policies for land use for future growth in the entire municipality. It is required by the province under the Municipal Government Act (MGA).
The City of Beaumont’s Transportation Master Plan was approved by resolution at the August 25, 2020 Council meeting. The Transportation Master Plan provides strategic planning for Beaumont’s transportation system, including safe, comfortable and efficient facilities for walking, cycling, transit, and vehicles.
The City of Beaumont’s Social Master Plan was approved by resolution at the June 25, 2019 Council meeting. The Social Master Plan provides direction for social supports and services in Beaumont over the next 10 years.
The City of Beaumont’s Recreation, Parks and Facilities Master Plan was approved by resolution at the January 14, 2020 Council meeting. The plan provides a vision and direction for recreation and culture facilities and service delivery in Beaumont over the next 10 years.
