Public Ice Skating Updates Page Banner

As Canadians, skating is in our blood. In Beaumont, it's one of our favourite things to do. To help you get the most out of the 2022/2023 season, all details and information will be listed on this page. These will range from announcements, rink statuses, current projects, and special programs the City may be offering. Please stay tuned to this page as it will be our main hub to keep you informed!

Here are a few house keeping rules as you enjoy skating this season!

  • Please use approved parking, and do not park on the surrounding park land.
  • Clean up after yourselves, and be considerate of others.
  • Rinks may be closed for many reasons, please respect closures.

New outdoor rinks

As part of our commitment to the Our Places and Play Master Plan, we have built three new outdoor rinks in time for the 2021-2022 season.

  • Two of the new rinks are boarded and fully lit. The first is Montalet Rink located just east of Dansereau School. The second is B.A.H.A. Rink, located behind the Ken Nichol Regional Rec Centre.
  • The third is a grass rink in Montrose Park. The south-west quadrant has its own local rink!
  • The grass rink at 56A St and 57 Ave has been moved beside the new Montalet boarded rink.
