NOTICE OF NON-STATUTORY PUBLIC HEARING
FOREST HEIGHTS OUTLINE PLAN AMENDMENT
The Council of the City of Beaumont is holding a non-statutory Public Hearing to consider an amendment to the Forest Heights Outline Plan. The Public Hearing will be held via live stream on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. and may be viewed at www.youtube.com/c/BeaumontAbCaT4X
An Outline Plan is a non-statutory plan that provides guidance for land development. This amendment application includes changing the planned roadway network, parkland and shared-use pathway configuration in the southwest corner of the Forest Heights neighbourhood, located west of Range Road 241 and south of 50 Avenue.

Any person who wishes to present to Council during the public hearing must pre-register with the City Clerk’s Office, city.clerk@beaumont.ab.ca or 780-929-1352, before 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
Any written submissions must be provided to the City Clerk’s Office at 5600 49 Street, Beaumont AB T4X 1A1 or via email, clearly labelled “Re: Forest Heights Outline Plan Amendment Public Hearing”, by 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. The personal information in submissions made is collected under the authority of the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, S. 33(c) for the purpose of public participation in decision making. It will be publicly available in accordance with S. 40(1) of the Act.
Procedure at the Public Hearing:
1. Administration will present the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment.
2. Council will hear:
a) any person or group of persons acting on his or their behalf who claim to be affected by the proposed amendment and have registered to make a presentation;
b) any other person who has registered to make a presentation and whom Council agrees to hear.

All written submissions received by the City Clerk by noon on May 20, 2020 will be recognized before any oral submissions.
