For the week of April 19, 2021 through April 25, 2021 the Beaumont RCMP responded to 53 calls for service. Some of the calls for service include theft from mail under $5,000, mental health act, fraud, suspicious persons/vehicles, assault, sexual assault, traffic collisions, causing a disturbance, uttering threats, theft under $5,000 and mischief.
The Beaumont RCMP is looking for the public’s assistance in locating two suspects in a mischief – damage to property. On April 24, 2021 at approximately 8:45 p.m., two youths were in the area of 58 avenue and 66 street in Beaumont. One was riding an orange bike with black spiral spokes and the other was walking and carrying a can of paint. Four vehicles and one garage door in the area were damaged by having paint smeared on them. If you have information about this investigation, please call the Beaumont RCMP at 780-929-7410. The Beaumont RCMP conducted 24 traffic stops, resulting in four charges under the Traffic Safety Act.
The month of May is motorcycle safety month and the Beaumont RCMP would like to remind both vehicle drivers and motorcycle riders to share the road safely. Together we can reduce collision to help make the roads and highways a safer place for everyone.
