With Alberta moving into Stage 3 of the Alberta government’s re-opening plan, most health measures are being lifted.
Masks will no longer be required for indoor public places in Beaumont and the current limits on customers allowed in businesses and restaurants will be lifted. City Hall will resume regular public hours next week and the Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre will open fully this week – stay tuned for more details.
People will have different levels of comfort as the province re-opens. Some businesses may also to choose to require masks in their premises. Please respect their decisions and treat them with respect if they choose to continue physical distancing and wearing a mask.
Additionally, some provincial measures will continue, including staying home when sick and isolating when exposed to COVID-19. Visit the Alberta government’s website for details.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding during the past 16 months and as we re-emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
