Beaumont RCMP held successful second annual Stuff a Cruiser event

Beaumont, AB - On December 11, Beaumont RCMP held their second annual Stuff a Cruiser event in support of the Leduc and District Food Bank

Beaumont RCMP partnered with City of Beaumont peace officers and Leduc County peace officers at two grocery stores in Beaumont, where food and cash donations were collected to Stuff a Cruiser.

“As a team, we collected 2,786 lbs of food and raised over $4,828 to support the local food bank. The food collected exceeded last year’s amount by over 300 pounds. These donations will make a huge difference for many families in the community. It was extremely heartwarming to see our community come together to support the Leduc and District Food Bank,” says Constable Cheri-Lee Smith.

Beaumont RCMP, City of Beaumont peace officers and Leduc County peace officers would like to thank everyone in the community who came out to support this event, as well as Sobeys Beaumont and Jeb’s No Frills for their matching donations.
