[ARCHIVED] Rodent Control in Beaumont

Our Infrastructure team has started conducting rodent control for 2023. This initiative will run from May 9 to November 15. We are treating primarily for Richardson Ground Squirrels due to their invasive nature of entering properties and digging holes throughout park land which creates a dangerous hazard for our residents.

⚠ Rodent control is conducted City wide, with a focus on high traffic areas. These include but are not limited to Colonial Soccer Field, the RCMP Office, and St. Vital Church/Hill.

⚠ Our teams will be out daily between the hours of 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

⚠ The holes will be treated and refilled as necessary during this process.

⚠ Warning signs are out 24 hours in advance of control as well as 48 hours after control has happened.

⚠ The product we are using is an environmentally friendly foam. Within minutes the foam dissipates to nothing leaving the ground to only look wet.
