Week in review Beaumont RCMP November 13-19, 2023

For the week of November 13, 2023, through November 19, 2023, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 47 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included; 911 Act – other activities, abandoned vehicles, assault, assistance to the general public, assistance to Canadian police (non-RCMP), assistance to Canadian provincial/territorial/department/agency, Child Welfare Act, criminal harassment, emergency protection order, fail to stop or remain at accident, failure to attend court, false alarms, Firearms Act, fraud (money/property/security) greater than $5000, identity fraud, identity theft, information file, items lost and found, Liquor Act, Mental Health Act, mischief – damage to property, mischief – obstruct enjoyment of property, moving traffic speeding violations, municipal bylaws – other, operation while impaired, other moving traffic violations, other non-moving traffic, other provincial/territorial statutes, other theft under $5000, theft under or equal to $5000 from a motor vehicle, traffic collisions, and wellbeing check.

The Beaumont RCMP conducted 22 traffic stops, resulting in 1 violation ticket and 21 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act.

The Beaumont RCMP is thrilled by the enthusiastic response to the previous positive ticketing colouring contest, that they are back with another one! This time, the Beaumont RCMP positive ticketing program invites you to participate in a holiday colouring contest. Swing by the RCMP detachment to grab your new colouring page. Don't forget, the deadline for the Colouring Contest is December 15, 2023. Exciting prizes await the winners!
