The Council of the Town of Beaumont has given first reading to Bylaw 905-18 that if passed would allow development to proceed on Phase 7 in the Dansereau Meadows neighbourhood. Dansereau Meadows Phase 7 is being developed by Anthem United and is located east of Range Road 243 and north of 65 Street.
The Land Use Bylaw currently designates this area for Phase 7 as AR–Agriculture Reserve, which is a holding district until such time as development is proposed. To accommodate Phase 7 a number of new districts are proposed as shown on the Redistricting Map.

The Public Hearing will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Town of Beaumont Administration Office located at 5600 - 49 Street, Beaumont AB. The bylaw may also be viewed at www.beaumont.ab.ca/civicalerts.
Procedure at the Public Hearing:
1. Presentation of the purpose and effect of the proposed Bylaw amendment.
2. Council will hear:
a) any person or group of persons acting on his or their behalf who claim to be affected by the proposed Bylaw;
b) any other person who wishes to make a presentation and whom the Council agrees to hear.
All written submissions received by the Supervisor, Legislative Services of the Town of Beaumont on or before noon on June 12, 2018 will be recognized prior to any oral submissions.
