Beaumont has strategically purchased a 79-acre parcel on the west side of the community in the newly-annexed area.

Purchasing this land will provide Beaumont flexibility to work with the community and the development community on future considerations for the west area of the community. No plans have been confirmed for the use of the parcel.

3. Has Beaumont done this before?

Yes. Beaumont has successfully worked with the development community previously to acquire other parcels in the community:

• Aqua-Fit Site
• Operations Facility site
• Maina’s Centre-ville site
• Temporary Park site (Old Shell station)
• Dansereau / St. André / FCSS school site

The 79-acre parcel is on the west side of the community in the newly-annexed area.

6. How will this purchase be financed?

Beaumont will finance the purchase of land with short term borrowing. The sale of other properties that Beaumont currently owns could offset the cost of this purchase moving forward.
