Are there other restrictions to note in the placement of election signage on roadways along public property?

Yes. Signs must be 15 metres from an intersection, at least 1.5 metres from the curb of the road, and cannot be located in playground zones, school zones, active construction zones, on centre medians, traffic islands, or in vehicle travel lanes. When placing signs, take care not to obstruct the safe passage of pedestrians or traffic. Refer to the Beaumont Traffic Safety Bylaw and Traffic Safety Bylaw Amendment.
