Ten-Year Capital Plan

Council reviewed the City’s 10-year capital plan. The plan sets out anticipated capital projects for the next decade.

2025 Budget Pre-Planning

Council approved a list of unfunded projects individual councillors submitted for consideration during 2025 deliberations this fall.

Off-Site Levies

Administration provided a report on opportunities to address costs for policing, recreation, and fire service through off-site levies. Council also received an update on the City’s review of current off-site levies charged for new development.

E-Scooter Pilot Program

Council approved an extension for Administration to provide a report on the feasibility and impacts of a pilot program for e-scooters in Beaumont.

Additional Stops for Transit Service

Administration presented a report on different options for additional bus stops in Beaumont for the commuter transit service. After considering the options, Council requested that the cost of on-demand transit service be included for consideration during 2025 budget deliberations this fall.
