For the weeks of July 22, 2024 through to August 11, 2024 the Beaumont RCMP responded to 245 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included:

The Beaumont RCMP conducted 65 traffic stops, resulting in 31 violation tickets and 26 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act.

During the evening of August 7, 2024, Beaumont RCMP were called to a residence on 44 Avenue for a report of a serious assault. A 33-year-old male had been assaulted by several male associates at a party. During the assault, the victim was struck multiple times about the head with a shotgun. The suspects were contained in a residence and efforts to have them surrender were not successful. Beaumont RCMP (General Investigative Section) were able to obtain a search warrant and as a result Police made entry into the residence and secured evidence of the offence. At this time the matter remains under investigation.

On August 10, 2024, at approximately 11 am Beaumont RCMP were called to the 7-11 for a report of an armed robbery that had taken place. A male suspect had entered the 7-11 with a handgun and demanded money before fleeing in a vehicle. No one was physically injured during this occurrence. This matter is still under investigation at this time.

The Beaumont RCMP are hosting a Bike Rodeo on Saturday August 24, 2024 from 10 to 11:30 am at the Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre. Beaumont RCMP are inviting all youths to grab their bikes and helmet and come tune up their bike safety skills, before heading back to school.
