City reportingRCMP Posted on: April 23, 2024 For the weeks of April 8, 2024, through April 21, 2024, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 134 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included; 911 Act, abandoned vehicles, assault, assault on police officer, assault with weapon, assist general public, assist to Canadian provincial, breach of peace, Child Welfare Act, criminal harassment, disturbing the peace, driving without care, fail to remain at accident, failure to comply with order/undertaking, false alarms, fraud less than $5000, identity fraud, items lost/found, Mental Health Act, mischief, motor vehicle insurance coverage violation, moving vehicle intersection violation, municipal by-laws, speeding violations, seatbelt violation, use of handheld device violation, other moving/non-moving traffic violations, theft under $5000, possession of property obtained by crime, sexual assault, suspicious person, theft of car, traffic collision and wellbeing check. The Beaumont RCMP conducted 36 traffic stops, resulting in 22 violation tickets and 6 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act.
