Posted on: August 22, 2023 For the week of August 14, 2023 through to August 20, 2023 the Beaumont RCMP responded to 51 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included; 911 Act – offences only, abandoned vehicle, assault, assistance to general public, assistance to Canadian provincial, breach of peace, break and enter, fail to stop or remain at accident, information files, items lost/found, mischief – damage to property, mischief – obstruct enjoyment of property, moving traffic intersection related, other moving traffic violations, other provincial/territorial statutes, roadside suspensions, suspicious person/vehicle/property, theft under $5000, traffic collisions and trafficking. The Beaumont RCMP conducted 24 traffic stops, resulting in 15 violation tickets and 9 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act.
