For the week of August 22 through August 28, 2022, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 58 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included 911 calls, animal calls, assault, Child Welfare Act, Coroner’s Act – sudden death/other activities, criminal harassment, disturbing the peace/causing a disturbance, drive without due care or attention, extortion without firearm, firearms act – other activities, harassing communications, items lost/found, Liquor Act, Mental Health Act, mischief – damage to property, mischief – obstruct enjoyment of property, moving traffic – speeding violations, other moving, non-moving, and speeding traffic violations, other theft under $5,000, person reported missing, suspicious person/vehicle/property, theft of bicycle, traffic collisions, and wellbeing check.

The Beaumont RCMP conducted 48 traffic stops, resulting in four charges and six warnings under the Traffic Safety Act.

The Beaumont RCMP had the opportunity to engage with the community at the Rural Roots Fair.
