City reportingRCMP Posted on: February 28, 2023 For the week of February 20 through February 26, 2023, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 41 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included 911 Act – offences only, abandoned vehicles, assist general public, breach of peace, disobeying order of court, fail to stop or remain at accident scene, fraud, identity fraud, information files, items lost/found, Liquor Act, Mental Health Act, mischief, municipal bylaws, impaired operation, traffic violations, suspicious person/vehicle, theft of motor vehicle, theft under $5,000, traffic collisions, and wellbeing checks. The Beaumont RCMP conducted 45 traffic stops, resulting in three violation tickets and 37 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act.
