City reportingRCMP Posted on: January 24, 2023 For the week of January 16 through January 22, 2023, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 38 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included 911 Act, animal calls, assault, assist general public, break and enter, fail to remain at the scene, failure to comply, mischief, motor vehicle insurance coverage violation, other moving traffic, offender management, other theft under $5,000, suspicious person/vehicle, traffic collisions, uttering threats against a person, and uttering threats against property or an animal. The Beaumont RCMP conducted 31 traffic stops, resulting in 30 warnings and one violation ticket under the Traffic Safety Act. Beaumont RCMP have been out enjoying the beautiful weather and engaging with the community. On a couple of occasions, members have stopped by the outdoor rinks, laced up their skates, and enjoyed a game of shinny with youth from the community!
