For the week of July 24, 2023 through July 30, 2023 the Beaumont RCMP responded to 53 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included; 911 Act – other activities, assault, assistance to general public, assistance to Canadian police (non-RCMP), assistance to Canadian provincial/territorial department/agency, breach of peace, Coroner’s Act, false alarms, fraud, items lost/found, mischief – damage to property, mischief – obstruct enjoyment of property, moving traffic intersection related, municipal bylaws, other moving traffic violations, other provincial/territorial statutes, roadside suspensions, suspicious person/vehicle/property, traffic collisions, uttering threats and wellbeing check.

The Beaumont RCMP conducted 20 traffic stops, resulting in 5 violation tickets and 17 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act.

Beaumont RCMP are taking part in the Capture Program (Community Assisted Policing Through Use of Recorded Evidence). All residents and business are invited to voluntarily register your security cameras at ruralalbertacapture.ca. The registry is secure and helps protect your property and community.  

Members of the Beaumont RCMP have been out engaging with youth in the community and handing out positive tickets. It is great to see all the awesome things our local youth have been up to this summer!
