City reportingRCMP Posted on: July 11, 2022 For the week of July 4 through July 10, 2022, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 69 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included assault, assistance to non-RCMP agency, break and enter – other and residential, dangerous driving, disturbing the peace, extortion without firearms, fail to stop, failure to comply, false alarms, flight from peace officer, harassing communications, injure or endanger other animals, item lost/found, Mental Health Act, mischief – damage to property/obstruct enjoyment, motor vehicle insurance coverage violation, moving traffic – intersection-related/speeding, impaired driving, other non-moving traffic, other theft under $5,000, roadside suspension – alcohol related, sexual assault, theft from motor vehicle under $5,000, traffic collision report, Trespassing Act offence, trespass at night, and wellbeing check.The Beaumont RCMP conducted 25 traffic stops, resulting in two charges and seven warnings under the Traffic Safety Act.Beaumont residents are encouraged to view the RCMP Crime Mapping tool HERE.The Beaumont RCMP encourages the public to report all criminal and suspicious activity.
