City reportingRCMP Posted on: June 14, 2022 For the week of June 6, 2022 – June 12, 2022 the Beaumont RCMP responded to 74 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included 911 Act, assault, breach of peace, break and enter – residence, Child Welfare Act, Coroner’s Act – sudden death, court order, dangerous driving, disobeying order of court, disturbing the peace/causing a disturbance, failure to comply, Family Orders & Agreements Enforcement Assistance Act, fraud, items lost/found, Mental Health Act, mischief – damage to property, moving traffic violations, operation while impaired, other theft under $5,000, roadside suspension, suspicious person/vehicle/property, theft of truck, theft under or equal to $5,000 – shoplifting, theft under or equal to $5,000 – from a motor vehicle, traffic collisions, utter/export counterfeit money, uttering threats against a person, and wellbeing check.The Beaumont RCMP conducted 24 traffic stops, resulting in two charges and one warning under the Traffic Safety Act.Reminder, Beaumont RCMP are holding a Town Hall on June 22, 2022 at 7 p.m. at the Beaumont Community Centre.
