For the week of May 16-22, 2022, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 59 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included assault, disobeying order of court, distribute intimate image without consent, disturb the peace/causing a disturbance, driving without due care or attention, extortion without firearm, fail to stop or remain at accident scene, false alarms, Family Orders & Agreements Enforcement Assistance Act, harassing communications, identity fraud, Liquor Act, Mental Health Act, mischief – damage to property, moving traffic-speeding, other moving and non-moving traffic, operation while impaired, person reported missing, roadside suspensions, theft of truck, traffic collisions, Trespass Act, and wellbeing check.

The Beaumont RCMP conducted 51 traffic stops, resulting in three charges and seven warnings under the Traffic Safety Act. Additionally, there were four roadside suspensions.

On June 22 at 7 p.m., Beaumont RCMP will be holding an in-person town hall at the Beaumont Community Centre (CCBCC). Staff Sergeant Dhaliwal will provide policing updates to the community. There will also be presentations from RCMP partners who work collaboratively with the RCMP to make the community safer.
