The Beaumont RCMP is requesting that you be cautious of the coyotes in the City of Beaumont. It is believed that there are pups in the area, and the coyote’s instinct is to protect its pups. Please keep dogs on leashes and keep them close to you. If you encounter a coyote do not approach and keep moving along. The coyotes have been frequently seen by the St. Vital Church on the hill. This area would be a good habitat for a den please use caution or try to avoid the area, for the time being. Fish and Wildlife has been advised.

Beaumont residents are encouraged to view the RCMP Crime Mapping tool.
