Posted on: May 31, 2022 For the week of May 23-29, 2022, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 60 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included 911 Act, animal calls, assault, breach of peace, Child Welfare Act, disturbing the peace/causing a disturbance, fail to stop or remain at accident scene, failure to comply with order, false alarms, Liquor Act, Mental Health Act, moving traffic – intersection related, other moving and non-moving traffic, operation while impaired, other theft under $5,000, person reported missing, possession for the purpose of trafficking, roadside suspensions, suspicious person/vehicle/property, theft of other motor vehicle, theft of truck, theft under or equal to $5,000 – shoplifting, traffic collisions, Trespass Act, uttering threats against a person, and wellbeing check.The Beaumont RCMP conducted 24 traffic stops, resulting in two charges and two warnings under the Traffic Safety Act. Additionally, there was one roadside suspension.On June 22 at 7 p.m., Beaumont RCMP will be holding an in-person town hall at the Beaumont Community Centre (CCBCC). There will be presentations by RCMP partners, an update on crime statistics within Beaumont, and a question and answer session afterwards.
