City reportingRCMP Posted on: May 16, 2023 For the week of May 8 through May 14, 2023 the Beaumont RCMP responded to 67 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included: abandoned vehicles, animal calls, assault, assault with weapon, assist general public, break and enter, disturbing the peace, false alarms, fraud, harassing communications, Mental Health Act, mischief, other theft under $5,000, suspicious person/vehicle, missing persons, traffic collisions, trespass at night, and wellbeing checks. The Beaumont RCMP conducted 47 traffic stops, resulting in six violation tickets and 17 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act. Beaumont RCMP wish everyone a safe and fun May long weekend and want to remind the community to be responsible over the weekend. Police will also have a focus on traffic safety this weekend. Please remember to slow down and don’t drink and drive. With the nice weather outside if you see RCMP out walking the paths please stop for a conversation.
