City reportingRCMP Posted on: October 12, 2022 For the week of October 3 through October 9, 2022, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 63 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included 911 Act offences, abandoned vehicle, animal call, Assistance to non-RCMP agency, assistance to general public, disturbing the peace, false alarms, Fire Prevention Act, fraud greater and less than $5,000, information file, item lost/found, Mental Health Act, mischief-damage to property and obstruct enjoyment, moving traffic – speeding and intersection related, other moving and non-moving traffic, other theft under $5,000, missing person, roadside suspension, sexual assault, suspicious-person/vehicle, theft of bicycle, theft of SUV, theft under $5,000 and traffic collisions. The Beaumont RCMP conducted 39 traffic stops, resulting in one charge and seven warnings under the Traffic Safety Act. Beaumont residents are encouraged to view the RCMP Crime Mapping tool HERE.
