City reportingRCMP Posted on: September 26, 2023 For the week of September 18, 2023, through to September 24, 2023, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 66 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included; assault, assistance to the general public, break and enter, criminal harassment, dangerous driving, disturbing the peace, emergency protection order, false alarm, fraud, harassing communication, lost property, liquor offences, mischief, traffic violations, sexual assault, theft, traffic collisions, wellbeing checks and uttering threats. The Beaumont RCMP conducted 12 traffic stops, resulting in 2 violation tickets and 3 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act. On Friday, September 29 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Beaumont RCMP are inviting all children/youth to come on down to the Gerry Patsula Lion Campground (picnic area), to chat with police, see the police car, and get a treat. Come enter your name in a contest to win a prize basket, and to see who wins the end-of-summer positive ticketing grand prize. Beaumont RCMP are inviting all youth to take part in the Beaumont RCMP colouring contest. Pictures will be displayed at the Beaumont RCMP detachment. Three lucky winners will win a gift basket.
