City reportingRCMP Posted on: September 11, 2023 For the week of September 4, 2023 through to September 10, 2023 the Beaumont RCMP responded to 66 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included; 911 Act – offences only, assault, assist general public, breach of peace, break and enter, Child Welfare Act, disturbing the peace, frauds, information files, items lost/found, Liquor Act, Mental Health Act, mischiefs, moving traffics, other non-moving, other theft under $5000, roadside suspension, suspicious person, traffic collisions and wellbeing check. The Beaumont RCMP conducted 20 traffic stops, resulting in 6 violation tickets and 14 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act. Beaumont RCMP are aware of the unsanctioned fights that are occurring in the City of Beaumont. Police would like to remind everyone that these events are illegal, and RCMP will arrest and charge all individuals that are involved.
