Volunteer Appreciation Week takes place April 27 – May 3, and the City of Beaumont is proud to recognize the outstanding individuals who make a difference in the community. This year, there are two volunteer awards open for nominations. Residents are encouraged to nominate a deserving volunteer for one award — or both!

Philip Ki Joon Oh Volunteer of the Year awards

Presented by the Philip Ki Joon Oh (PKJO) Foundation, these awards recognize:

  • A volunteer or not-for-profit organization that has made a significant voluntary contribution to the City of Beaumont over the past year.
  • A youth volunteer (aged 12–17 years) who has demonstrated exceptional dedication and impact in the community.

Deadline for nominations: May 5 at noon.

Volunteers make waves: celebrating Beaumont’s volunteers

This initiative celebrates individuals whose volunteer efforts help the community thrive. Nominate a Beaumont volunteer who inspires others for a chance to receive a special thank-you gift from the City.

Deadline for nominations: April 22 at 9 am.
