The City launched a promotional campaign focused on the benefits of community service featuring a videos of community members speaking about their experience on boards and committees in Beaumont. The videos will be posted on the City’s social media channels and website. Posters in the community and advertising in local media will also direct the public to the website where they can learn more about boards and committees and apply. Whether it’s advising City Council on needs for recreation, culture, the arts, or issues affecting youth, or having a hand in setting the direction for the Beaumont library, hearing subdivision and development appeals, or evaluating funding requests for community groups, there are many ways for Beaumont community members to serve it up.
