Off-Site Levies

Off-site levies are fees the City collects to help pay for new or expanded infrastructure to support growth and development.

Off-site levy fees cover:

  • water supply systems
  • sanitary sewer systems
  • fire hall facilities
  • arterial roads and intersections
  • land needed to build or expand these services

Off-site levies, as set out in the Municipal Government Act, require new developments to pay their fair share of the costs to support growth in Beaumont.

Off-Site Levy Bylaw

The purpose of this bylaw is to establish an off-site levy for land that is to be subdivided or developed. This replaces Bylaws 945-19/1008-22.
