Public hearing May 13, 2025 at 6 pm: There are three bylaws being considered at this public hearing: Bylaws 1076-25, 1077-25 and 1078-25.

Bylaw 1076-25 Azur Area Structure Plan Amendments

The purpose of proposed Bylaw 1076-25 Azur Area Structure Plan Bylaw Amending Bylaw is to amend the Azur/Lakeview Area Structure Plan by revising the land use concept and servicing connections for the undeveloped portion of the neighbourhood to accommodate a new joint high school site. It also proposes to rename the plan to the “Azur Area Structure Plan”.

Bylaw 1077-25 Azur School Site Municipal Development Plan Amendments

The purpose of proposed Bylaw 1077-25 Azur Area Structure Plan Bylaw Amending Bylaw is to amend Bylaw 937-19, the Municipal Development Plan: Our Complete Community, to adjust the locations and areas of the Commercial, Future Residential, Institution/Public Facilities, and Parks & Open Space character areas; and to remove the Community Commercial/Employment Centre character area from portions of SE-26-50-24-W4 in the Azur Area Structure Plan.

Bylaw 1078-25 Azur Land Use Amendments

The purpose of proposed Bylaw 1078-25 Azur Land Use Bylaw Amending Bylaw is to redistrict portions of SE-26-50-24-W4 and Plan 072 1688, Block 1, Lot 1 from:

  • Conventional Neighbourhood (CN) District to Commercial (C) District – 2 areas;
  • Conventional Neighbourhood (CN) District to Integrated Neighbourhood (IN) District – 4 areas; and
  • Commercial (C) District to Integrated Neighbourhood (IN) District – 1 area.
