Welcome to the BSRC Fitness Centre, group fitness classes and training services! Fitness classes require Plus Membership or Drop-In admission payment.
All patrons in the Fitness Centre or attending group fitness classes must have a proof of payment wristband visible at all times. Personal sanitizing bottles and clean cloths are available for use at the entrance of the Fitness Centre.
All facility rules (as posted in the Fitness Centre) must be adhered to. Inappropriate use or behaviour could be subject to suspension/cancellation of service use.

New to the Fitness Centre? Nervous about where to go or how to operate machines? Our BSRC staff can help educate you to help make you feel comfortable in our facility! In the Fitness Centre orientation sessions, you’ll get a general walkthrough of the layout and amenities, an introduction to various free-weight equipment and machinery. Adult sessions are open to patrons 14 years of age or older, and are scheduled for 15 minutes.
Orientation sessions are only offered a select number of times throughout the week and must be booked in advance with our Fitness Coordinator. Youth Fitness Center Orientations (for those 12 & 13 years of age) are scheduled on PD days, in coordination with the Black Gold School Division.
Fill out the form and our Fitness Coordinator will recommend the trainer that is the best fit for you and your fitness goals.
Please note: all personal training sessions expire 2 years after date of purchase.
All Fitness Centre users must be 14 years of age or older to be permitted in the Fitness Centre independently. Youth aged 12-13 must complete a Youth Fitness Centre Orientation and be accompanied by a parent/guardian in order to use the Fitness Centre or attend group fitness classes.

Looking to begin an exercise/training program or make changes to a current program? There are various pricing options for personal training based on the number of sessions booked. Personal training sessions can be purchased for individual instruction or up to a maximum of 3 people at a time.
During the initial consultation, any limitations that you may have while exercising, as well as your fitness goals, will be discussed. Your personal trainer will work with you 1-on-1 to develop an individualized program based on your goals, history and needs, while motivating and supporting your commitment to your health and wellness!
All BSRC personal trainers are certified and have a valid Personal Trainer Agreement Contract with the City of Beaumont (BSRC). After you fill out a Personal Training Intake Form [pdf], our Fitness Coordinator will assign you a personal trainer based on your fitness needs and scheduling availability.

Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) will offer training programs to individuals with special medical conditions. The CEP trains individuals with special medical conditions to oversee the analysis, improvement, and maintenance of health and fitness. Individuals advised by a doctor to see a Kinesiologist or Physiologist before exercising will benefit from seeing a CEP, as would people with medical conditions such as: cardiac (heart) disease, bone or joint issues, chronic disease, post physiotherapy, and/or physical disabilities.
The Beaumont Sport & Recreation Centre can help your team reach new heights! Use the BSRC trainers to enhance your team’s performance and get to the next level of physical ability under certified instruction. Aspects include: sport specific fitness assessments, seasonal periodization training plans (pre, mid, and post season), and injury prevention education. Our certified fitness instructors will help develop your team’s physical fitness and sport-specific skills in a challenging, yet safe environment that promotes team bonding and motivation! Note: Team training sessions must be booked through the BSRC Fitness Coordinator at least five (5) business days in advance. Maximum team size: 22 participants
