This directory was developed as part of Beaumont’s Health Services Action Plan to enhance access and improve awareness about healthcare services for residents.

Directory definitions

Continuing Care Services – health care services that help people remain well and safe in their home or a congregate living setting, e.g., seniors lodge, supportive living. Visit Alberta Health Services’ website for more information.

Health Community Services and Social Support – services that support general well-being, offer social supports, or referrals to social services, e.g., settlement services for newcomers, churches, Family and Community Support Services (FCSS).

Primary Care Services – support basic, everyday health needs, e.g., family doctors, community clinics, nurse practitioners. Visit Alberta Health Services’ website for more information.

Other Medical Services – includes diagnostic imaging (e.g., x-rays and MRIs), pharmacies, blood testing, labs, and other health-related services.
